FAQ
It is a common misconception that extensions will damage your natural lashes. Well... I'm here to set the record straight that if you get them done from a proper lash artist who isolates, uses correct weight and length they will not damage your natural lashes. Each extension whether it be a volume fan or an individual classic lash should ONLY be attached to 1 natural lash. This means that the extension will follow the lash cycle that lash is at, and it will naturally shed with your NL. It is only with poor application that may cause damage to your NL's.
Time will depend on the set you're having applied. Each individual will also have different lash layers and amount of lashes that will impact the duration of your appointment. This could take anywhere between 1.5 hours to 2.5 hours. Please keep in mind all fans are hand made which takes time and precision, therefore allowing you to leave with the best outcome and lashes of a high quality.
YES. If you are pregnant it is safe for you to have lash extensions. As the extension is applied about .5mm to 1mm away from the lash line, the adhesive it'll not come in contact with your skin. With this being said, whilst being pregnant you will go through many hormonal changes that can affect your hair growth. This may or may not affect your retention. We can always work together to try make the appointment as comfortable and pleasant as possible if that means brining a pillow to get comfy or having to wriggle around.
Each client will have different retention as this is greatly affected by how well you follow after care instructions. Generally refills occur every 2-3 weeks to remove outgrown extensions and replace with new extensions closer to the lash line. This will prevent damage and keep your lashes looking neat and fluffy all the time.
Absolutely! Just stay clear of eyeliner and NO mascara on your extensions.
Unfortunately no guests are allowed at your appointment. Due to the small salon space, it's only suited for myself and my client. This includes partners, friends and children as the salon space is not safe and I will not be able to keep my eyes on what they may get their hands on.
A brow lamination can last up to 6 weeks depending on how well you follow the aftercare instructions and your brow hair growth. Once the hairs start growing, those will not be laminated and they will begin to start looking fluffy.
It is best to wait between 4-6 weeks between brow waxing appointments and no less than 2 weeks. This will allow the hairs to grow back enough. If you come to your appointment with little hairs, it can make it harder for the wax to pick up stubborn hairs.
Brow Lamination is a process which resets the hairs into place, creating fuller and sleek brows. Perfect for those with little amount of hair and wanting to give the appearance of fuller brows and/or individuals wanting to tame unruly hairs.
This is not suitable for individuals with sensitive skin, sunburn, eczema or using any acne medication and retin A.
